Now that it's cooled off, the air conditioning is working again. Mostly vinyl this time!

+ 0 - 0 | § When is A Search (and seizure) Not a Search?

Is Google our friend? Apparently not, as it seeks to set a precedent that searching your email is not a search.

+ 0 - 0 | § How We Train People In Our Society

I thought I might dip my toe into the airwaves. I'd just heard the media types expounding on how irrelevant brodcast TV is. I hooked up my 12" black and white set to the cable, which I use only for cable Internet.

+ 0 - 0 | § Abuse in Iraq Prisons

The story (and pictures) of abuse in the Iraq prisons manned by American and British troops are the hot stuff in the news at this moment. The media hurd, however, is missing what to me seems the obvious story.

+ 1 - 1 | § Last Snow Day?

The snow flakes came down this morning in Frisbee (R)(TM)(C)(U)(K) sized pieces. The ides of March are upon us, but can't possibly be as bad as last year. Or can they?

Here are a handful of links to Radio Blogs with a brief review for each one -- snagged from chaos in no particular order.

+ 2 - 0 | § Snowflakes to Ashes, Dusk to Dust

The snow is coming down like fallout from a nuke that detonated a bit too close. It's not sticking to the ground, which is flaky with ice like the shell of the Kruspy Krisp I ate for breakfast. The space bus is ambling along, and the passengers are up and around. Will it take me three hours to get to my destination this time? I'm not as worried about it during this phase of the trip as there is the possibility of socializing with the regulars and possibly making a few new friends, if you're willing to use the latter term loosely.
